Welcome to the Saturday Examen.

What we ask you to do today is to go deeper into your prayer of this week, by looking back at all that you have experienced during these days.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a memory test! Instead, a chance to let God show you where God has been in your week... often, these moments are a surprise.

So, as we begin, find a comfortable but alert position. Notice the presence of God with you, in whatever form that takes.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help guide your memory and thoughts as you look back over your week.

Can you recall a moment when you felt really close to God? What did it feel like?

Was there a time, this week, when you found yourself resisting God. Why was that, do you think?

Have you found it easy to listen to God in your prayer this week?

Is there anything that the Lord might be inviting you to focus on this week? What can you do about it in the coming week?

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
