Pray As You Grow Theme Music (Guitar version)

As we begin, reflect on God, who is with you here and now…

Take a moment to breathe, and think about God’s gaze of love upon you...

Ask God to guide you in this time of prayer…

1:20

viro

The Ten Commandments, as found in the Old Testament books of Exodus and Deuteronomy are explained more fully by Jesus in the New Testament. They teach us how to live a life of love.

As you listen to these words, pay attention to how you respond. Do they stir up any feelings within your heart? Talk to God about this, as one good friend does to another.

2:03

I am the LORD your God. You shall not have strange gods before me.

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.

Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day.

Honour your father and your mother.

You shall not kill.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife.

You shall not covet your neighbour’s goods.

5:05

As this time of prayer comes to a close, notice what is staying with you… Hold this with you as you go about the rest of your day…

5:31

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
