Welcome to the Saturday Examen.

During this week we have moved rapidly from the Passion to the Resurrection. Perhaps in everyday life the transition doesn’t happen so fast, or so fully. Ask God to show you, in today’s prayer, the real signs of resurrection in your own life.

Now look back gently over the last week. Where do you see signs of new life? Of light, and life, and energy? Of the presence of the risen Christ in your own life?

What new invitations or gifts might Jesus be offering you as you continue to celebrate his resurrection in the coming days and weeks?

Are there parts of your own life, or of the life of the world around you, that still seem cut off from the new life that this season promises? Take a moment or two to hold those before God.

Before this time of prayer comes to an end, ask Jesus for whatever you most need from him to live as a faithful disciple in the coming week.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
