Revelation tells us that God has a new name for each one of us, and that each name is written on a white stone. On the day when we receive the stone, we will share in that intimate knowledge with God, and experience in a new way how very known, seen, and beloved we are.
As you look back over Lent, recalling the types of longing we explored, the Scriptures we read, the prayers we offered, take several deep breaths, recalling the gift of God’s presence during this season.
Call to mind any insights or experiences in prayer for which you are especially grateful and which you would like to remember. Offer your thanks to God however you feel most inclined to express it.
Thank you so much for journeying with us through this retreat. We hope that this time of dwelling in holy longing has brought you nourishment and comfort this Lenten season. And as you move into the joy of Easter, we hope you will continue to encounter God in profound ways, and that you will be assured of this: that your longing will always lead you home.
You have given all to me
To you, Lord, I return it
Everything is Yours, do with what You will
Give me only Your love and Your grace
That is enough for me.
Amen.
